I got the cutest rain jacket from Justice!! Since its been more rainy this winter then others, it is perfect! Thanks so much JUSTICE!!!

Aloha all!? Day 3 of the shoot was extra fun because we surf Kewalos in the morning, then we got to jump off China Walls!? It is one of my favorite spots to take a dip in the ocean!?

Hey Guys!!? I hope everyone is having a wonderful first month of the new year!? This month has been pretty crazy for me, with a new semester of school starting, waves all over the island, and shooting, I’ve been pretty all over the place!? But that’s the way I love it.? Teppei and I started our day real early, trying to beat the traffic, and got on the road while it was still dark!

Once we got up to the north shore, we scouted for some locations then headed EAST!!

These are Kiawe trees, they have really sharp thorns so watch out!!? But these branches make great firewood!?

Aloha Nui loa all!!? I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!? New Years is just days away!! I can’t wait!! Did you all make your new years resolution??? I have a very long list, I love making new goals for myself.? I enjoy having a challenge and working towards things.?

One of my top new years resolution is to improve on my surfing.? After watching everyone surf this winter, I saw where I was compared to everyone, and I felt like I could do better.? Since school is on break right now, I have a lot more free time to go surfing.? I’ve been trying to clock more time in the water.? I know I need to start surfing bigger waves, and also trying more risky maneuvers.? I also want to build up my confidence when I am out in the water.? This summer I was thinking about going to Japan and doing some of the Jr. Pro’s over there.? I know there are like 2 that I could enter, and 2011 would be my last year as a Jr.? I think it would be a fun experience for me, since I took such a long break from competing.?

I know I have a lot to work on, but I am the kind of person that when I put my mind on something, I am going to finish it.? I know I can do it, just going to take some time.?
